Derived from the Sanskrit term nyasa, which means "to place," and the prefix vi, "in a special way
Vinyasa Yoga branches out from Hatha Yoga, and the postures flow with the breath in this type of class. Based on the Ashtanga practice, which is powerful and regimental in itself, this form of yoga can be quite challenging for beginners but do not be afraid to try it, your Teacher/Yogi/Guru jee will guide you through the principles of Vinyasa and in no time you’ll be an avid student.
Do note that when Vinyasa Yoga is done at a fast pace, it becomes Power Yoga.
